Welcome to my projects page! Photography is not just a hobby, it's a true passion in which I put my heart and soul into every project I undertake. I'm constantly wanting to create something truly unique and special! These projects allow me to push the boundaries of my creativity, challenge my perceptions, and connect with others on a new level. I hope that they are a testament to my dedication and enthusiasm for art, constantly evolving as I seek to uncover new dimensions and meanings within my craft, and even so, getting to experiment with mediums I normally do not pursue! Here are just a few of my past and current art projects, many of which I'm completing in my spare time.

"Space Age"

Space Age is an exploration of how shadows and light craft visual echoes of the boundless mysteries of outer space. Inspired by an enduring fascination with the cosmos and a deeply intertwined faith in Jesus Christ, I explore how these elemental forces can evoke the profound and enigmatic beauty of distant galaxies and celestial phenomena. The vast, uncharted universe mirrors the infinite nature of God’s creation and the boundless love He has for us! By manipulating light and shadow, I aim to mimic the surreal landscapes and ethereal qualities of space, transforming everyday scenes into otherworldly vistas. Each photograph becomes a portal to an imagined universe, inviting viewers to embark on a visual and spiritual journey through personal cosmos, blurring the lines between reality and the infinite unknown. Growing up, my Dad and I loved learning about outer space (a hobby we enjoy together to this day!), so this project is dedicated to him.

"Amigo"

My Great Grandfather (Amigo) was one of the most talented artists to ever exist. I wish we could have met and shared our love for creating and capturing beauty in the little moments. We would have chatted for hours about our cameras, the joy we feel when taking photos, and the connection that a simple image could bring to everyone near and far. My family recently began digitalizing his old film slides, and what started out as curiosity quickly turned into an awestruck moment when we saw almost identical images! Our first discovery was in Glendalough, Ireland standing in the same places with strikingly similar photos (I'm still blown away when I see them!!!!) While never realizing we were going to be visiting the exact same spots as him before we left for our Europe trip in 2023, we are now more excited than ever to keep discovering Amigo's other photos and adventures! This project's main focus is showcasing side-by-sides of our photos, as well as drawing inspiration to recreate some of his stunning images.
